We're looking for some local San Francisco writers to contribute to Hoodline.
Hoodline currently covers the Lower Haight, Upper Haight, Hayes Valley and Divisadero, and we'll be expanding in the months ahead. So if you're a capable writer and you live in our current coverage area—or in any nearby neighborhood for that matter—we'd like to hear from you.
First, though, please ask yourself the following questions:
- Am I a good writer?
- Do I have a healthy curiosity about, if not an outright love for, my neighborhood?
- Can I meet deadlines, reply to emails, and not flake out in general?
- Do I have a little free time each month?
If you replied yes to each of these questions, we want to hear from you. Just send an email to write [at] hoodline {{dot}} com with the following details:
- Where you live (neighborhood and nearest cross streets would be great)
- What neighborhood(s) you're interested in covering
- Any relevant writing experience (links to sample pieces would be great but not required)
- Any specific topics that interest you
