Piper's Shoe Parlor ReopensPhotos: Camden Avery/Hoodline
Good news, friends: Piper's Shoe Parlor is back in business.
We wandered by yesterday afternoon to find the butcher paper off the windows, the door open and the store staffed.

Owner Kipling Rowe said that instead of waiting until today to open, as originally planned, they would just open the door for a trial run and get things up and running.

There's inventory on the shelves, and while it's not a full offering yet, it's enough to start with.

The windows are put in order and the inventory that is on hand is out on the sales floor. The finishing touches have been put on during the remodel, including a new sheet metal cutout sign on the front of the store.

So far, offerings include an array of boots, sneakers, sandals and heels, and a smattering of odds-and-ends expected to expand shortly.
