If you're wondering who's moving into that new shed next to Ritual Coffee in the Proxy Project, the answer is only a few feet away.

Juice Shop is trading in their mobile location for a permanent one. While they're working on the final touches, they have come up with a name for their new home: the Juice Box.

Although Juice Shop now has four locations in San Francisco and one in Corte Madera, the idea for the company began in the owner's kitchen after he returned from the Hippocrates Health Institute.

Charlie Gulick, co-founded of Juice Shop, was diagnosed with a rare liver condition and cleansing his body with raw vegan food and detoxing through juices helped bring his liver functions back to normal. His family committed to support him by consuming similar food and the group created the recipes that are now sold at Juice Shop.

Juice Shop makes their juices each day using a hydraulic press. Produce is sourced within 200 miles of the Bay Area and most drinks tend to range between 80-175 calories.

We don't know an official opening date, but it sounds like it will be soon. We spoke to co-owner Ben Gulick who said "We are pretty much waiting for some inspections and last-minute fabrications."

Until they make their move, the green machine (nicknamed Narney) will still be parked at the Proxy Project on Monday-Friday (7am-7pm) and Saturday-Sunday (8am-7pm).
