I haven't yet posted anything about Chris Kohrs aka the "Hot Cop of Castro", not because I don't think he is hot, but because I feel like everyone has heard about this guy ad nauseam. Well I'm jumping into the fray to report that a fan, Nate Tatterson, has put together a Facebook Fan Page where people who are curious about what's going on in Kohrs' life can get up to the minute updates in their Facebook "News" Feed.
The SFPD officer that has been making appearances in the Castro, craning necks and getting guys (and girls) hot and bothered, had this to say to the original photographer, Mark Abramson,
"Right on Mark. I appreciate your support. As more people tune in, it is inevitable that there will be a few that disapprove for whatever reasons. I hope this individual better understands the history, including the difficult times that the LGBT community went thru in the past and that we're only trying to bring positivity to the future. The community has came a long way since the riots and I feel the SFPD has too. I hope our relations with the LGBT community keep improving! That would put a smile on MY face. And yes...that's what it's all about my friend.
Awe, what a sweetie.
