Three Retail Spaces At Haight & Central Go Up For LeasePhoto: Philippe Teuwen/Flickr
Haight Ashbury Vintage is moving, the Red Victorian is under new ownership, and rent continues to rise in general. Now, three shops at Haight and Central are up for lease.
In another installment in the ongoing commercial real estate drama taking place on Haight, we received a tip about a Craigslist posting that lists three retail spaces on the north corner of Haight and Central as for lease or pending.

Business that could be affected are Sunshine Coast, Love of Ganesha, and Lucky Cleaners.

Though we've so far been unable to confirm the details, rumors suggest that Central Haight Market, the liquor store across the street (think Bob Marley mural), could be moving into Lucky Cleaner's space at the corner.

Central Haight Market told us that they have no current plans to move their shop across the street, but none of the business owners on the north side were available to comment at the time of this posting.

The listing is for a total of roughly 1,721 square feet at $5.25 per square foot "NNN" (which basically means the tenants are responsible for their own share of property tax, common area maintenance, and insurance). All told, rent for each space will work out to about $4,500 plus those additional expenses. "High ceilings," "excellent visibility" and "vintage building details" are touted in the posting, and "many uses" are being considered.

We'll report back as we learn more.
