Hayes Valley Urban Air Market Returns September 14thPhoto: Jared Schwartz/Hoodline
Need another excuse to get out and about, besides the neighborhood's shops, restaurants, and interminably dry and temperate weather? Look no further than Hayes Valley's largest street festival, which is headed to the area on and around Patricia's Green on Sunday, September 14th.

Back again since its last appearance in May, the Urban Air Market is a curated market for sustainable design, and next month's event is set to feature over 130 venders offering a bounty of jewelry, art, apparel, beauty products and home goods, plus local artists and musicians. (Here's the full lineup.)

This time around, look out for interactive activities like a do-it-yourself natural potpourri workshop with SF Etsy, live art from 1AM Gallery, and a "relaxation lounge" provided by One Medical Group, plus a photobooth housed in a vintage VW bus.

Music will include performances from Tone, Vandela, Tin Cup Serenade, Erin Brazill and the Brazillionares, Paige and the Thousand, Uni and her Ukelele, Foxtails Brigade, Gail Edwards, Dirty Cello, and Max & Nicky. In addition to Proxy's usual offerings, food trucks Dum Truck and Benedict Arnold's will be slinging Indian food and eggs benedict, respectively.

We'll give you a heads up as the event gets closer, but for now, mark your calendars, especially if you're the type who likes to get holiday shopping done painfully early.
