Pizza Party At Duboce Park Cafe Tonight
Published on September 25, 2014
Duboce Park Cafe is launching a new pizza menu, and the cozy corner spot (and possible site of San Francisco's original settlement) is celebrating with a party tonight.
Though the cafe has long had a pita pizza on its menu, and has been experimenting with pizza offerings for the past few months, it's amping things up tonight with a full lineup of pies, which will be offered daily after 5pm.
The menu, therefore, is dubbed "Pizza After 5," and includes pies made from scratch using fresh ingredients and mozzarella made in-house. There will be at least three pizzas on the menu, including a fennel sausage and Kalamata olive option, Zoe's salami pizza, and a Margherita. A rep for the cafe tells us that the price point will be about $15 per pie.
Tonight's launch party will feature complimentary pizza tastings, which you can wash down with an also-complimentary glass of Lagunitas. (Sorry, the beer apparently ain't free after all.) Or if beer's not your thing (or you're not of drinking age yet), there will be fresh-squeezed lemonade available too.
Will the new menu come as a relief for the neighborhood residents left unsatisfied by their current pizza options? Only time will tell. For now, the free event runs from 6pm to 9pm tonight—check here for more details.
