Yesterday was the first day of fall, and tomorrow the neighborhood is celebrating with our seasonal Divisadero Art Walk
Though the Art Walk's Kickstarter campaign didn't quite hit its goal, the team behind Big Umbrella Studios is working hard to research grants and fund additional funding for Art Walk events in 2015. Plans include more art exhibits, live music, street vendors, and permits for street closures.

In the meantime, there's a great lineup of events slated for tomorrow night. With the Art Walk stretching along Divisadero from Ellis to Haight, the neighborhood's local businesses will be turning out in style, extending their hours, and offering some pretty sweet deals and events for us to take advantage of. Everything happens from 7pm to 11pm, though some businesses may close earlier in the evening.

Here are a few tidbits to get you excited for tomorrow:

Onyx will be featuring the work of artist Maureen Shields. (289 Divisadero)

Madrone is hosting urban folk musician Brian Keeney from 7-9pm, and Disco Bomb Boogie with DJ Chris Orr from 9pm - 2am.  (500 Divisadero)

Rare Device has the show #Summer up, which we talked about here.  (600 Divisadero)

Mojo Bicycle Cafe has a photography exhibit up titled "Russian Railway Stories", with work by Anastasia Kuba. The show explores the intimacy that can occur on long distance railway journeys through Russia. (639-A Divisadero)

Big Umbrella Studios will have a group show on exhibit, featuring the work of artists Chris Adams, Emily Beeson, Owen Brown, Daria Gabriel and Leslie Lambert. The studio will also play host to a few vendors, including Road Twenty-Two, MIKMOI, and Sticks N Stones. Sparkling sake sangria will be served to the first 40 guests.  (906.5 Divisadero)

Other participating businesses include 4505 Burgers & BBQ, Bi-Rite Divisadero, Ziryab, San Francisco Skate Club, and more, so invite your friends and head out to to explore what tomorrow's event has on tap.

We'll see you there!
