Revival Closing Up Shop In Two MonthsPhotos: Sim Blakeney
Some of you may have noticed that Revival, the small clothing boutique and alterations shop at 112 Gough St., is up for rent.
Revival has been in the neighborhood for over seven years, offering new and used clothing for women, jewelry, shoes and bags, as well as professional sewing and alterations.

We spoke with the current tenant and one half of the mother-daughter team behind the shop, who said that they will only be there for two more months. Though she didn't share many details (or her name), she did let us know that they have other business ventures keeping them busy and on which they now want to focus.

We also contacted the leasing agents who confirmed that the unit is indeed available to lease. The agents would not disclose the asking rent, but said that they would entertain any reasonable offer. It's zoned purely as a retail space, so don't expect another eating venue to add to your Hayes Valley food crawl. But, if you are looking for somewhere to set up shop in Hayes Valley, this could be an opportunity for you.

In the meantime, the racks at Revival are still full of clothes and the owners are still doing alternations, so get down there and check it out while you still can.
