If all that voting is getting you hungry for lunch, you'll be happy to know that there's a new lunch stop in town. A Rickshaw lunch stop, in fact.
Starting today, peripatetic grilled cheese purveyor Michael Davidson of Grilled Cheez Guy will debut a semi-permanent pop-up operating out of the neighborhood music venue Rickshaw Stop. For now, the new operation will be running on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only, but that schedule could expand according to demand.

Davidson told Eater that the "Grilled Cheez Guy Cafe" will offer a dine-in/take-out menu featuring the obvious cheesy items, plus vegan soups and gluten-free quiche from Quiche & Carry and a self-service condiment bar that will include their signature sambal tomato jam served out of "cocktail guns." A beer vending machine is another new and notable addition, and fans of the Cheez Guy's grilled cheese nachos should note that the calorie bombs are set to appear on the menu tomorrow.

An upcoming reservation system and bicycle delivery service are in the works, and for now, hours are 11am to 3pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

To celebrate the grand opening, Davidson is offering free grilled cheese sandwiches to the first 300 customers who drop in at Rickshaw today, so be sure to stop by early to grab your lunch and welcome the Grilled Cheez Guy to the neighborhood.
