A poster is being distributed by San Francisco Police Department in hopes of identifying the suspects involved in the shooting of a young man in Duboce Triangle early Monday morning.
According to the poster, the victim, Michael Marquez, was walking with two friends southbound on Noe Street near Henry. Three young African American males (16-24 years old) accosted them and told them to lie on the ground. At least one of the individuals had a gun.
Marquez did not comply with the suspects' demands, and a warning shot was fired by the suspects. Marquez started to run eastbound on Henry. One of the suspects followed Marquez and shot him in the torso, according to an earlier police report.
Police believe that at least one of the suspects got into a dark-colored sedan. The getaway vehicle was seen double-parked facing eastbound mid-block of Henry at the time of the shooting. The suspects stole a smartphone, a wallet and a backpack from the victims.
