Monday Alamo Square Neighborhood Meeting To Discuss Area Q ParkingPhoto: Jamie in Bytown
The Alamo Square Neighborhood Association (ASNA) is hosting their last meeting for 2014 at Oasis Cafe this coming Monday evening.

The 40+ year old neighborhood association will be addressing several key issues. One of the hottest topics on the agenda will be an update on the controversial Area Q's residential parking permits.

Also on the docket is a look at the major upcoming Alamo Square renovations. The picnic area plan is slated to be redone, some Recreation & Park improvements are going to be the park's irrigation system, and the long-discussed restroom renovation should begin in early 2015. With the changes there also may be the opportunity to resurrect the shoe garden from days of yore.

Finally, ASNA is looking for new board members. If you'd like to get involved swing by on Monday, or shoot them an email to board [at] alamosq [dot] org.

The meeting will be held at 7pm on Monday December 8th at Oasis Cafe (901 Divisadero Street).

If you can't make it, you'll have another chance to connect with ASNA this week. Both the North of the Panhandle Neighborhood Association and the Alamo Square Neighborhood Association will be hosting a joint happy hour during the upcoming Divisadero Art Walk. This Thursday December 11th they both can be found from 6-9pm at Ziryab on Divisadero.

See you out there, neighbors!
