
Local shop Rare Device is once again bring a dose of flair to Divisadero with another eye-catching art show that opens tonight Friday night.

"Dead of Winter" explores botanical objects, focusing on themes of dormancy, death and decay. The show is curated by neighborhood local Tiffanie Turner, who exhibited her large-scale paper flowers in the space last spring.
The show brings a variety of mediums and styles into one small space. Danielle Krysa (of the Jealous Curator) will be exhibiting some of her collage work (see above image). Simone Truong has a collection of slightly abstract photographs of flowers to include (see below).

The exhibit will feature work from Robert Larkin, Noel Badges Pugh, Sonya Philip, Simone Truong, Tiffanie Turner, Danielle Krysa, Alejandro Chavetta, Kathryn Clark, Jo Boyer and Anna Branning. You can follow the artists on Instagram as they share their processes and discuss their work, using the hashtag #deadofwinterRD.
