The vacant space that was formerly So Good Jewelry at Haight & Belvedere is getting a new tenant. Bespoke Cut and Sew, a custom hat company based in Southern California, has begun a build-out of the newly-renovated space at 1645 Haight, and they're looking forward to opening in late March or early April.

We spoke to Brandon Williams, who told us that the company specializes in dismantling and reconstructing hats.

"We hand-sew fabrics, leathers, authentic skins back onto hats by the request of our customers ... our business model is almost set up like Nike ID." The company's been at it for three years, and Williams tells us they've already got a huge Bay Area following:

"We have a pretty crazy following in SF, actually, all of Northern California shows us a lot of love. We get a large percentage of our online business from NorCal. When we posted on our Instagram we were opening up a new store on Haight Street, people went crazy! "

Here are some Bay Area-focused examples of the shop's wares:

The Haight Street shop will be Bespoke's fifth store, and they hope to open another one in Vegas by the end of the year. The shop will also carry beanies, shirts, and accessories like watches and scarves.

Welcome, Bespoke!
