With February transitioning to March this weekend, we've got plenty of events and happenings to fill your late winter weekend planner.

The 2nd Annual Lesbians Who Tech Summit, highlighting queer women who are the next generation of technical leaders, kicked off last night in the Castro and continues throughout the weekend with a variety of lectures and speakers scheduled. The event brings together over 1,000 LGBTQ woman and allies across all areas of technology with a focus on increasing visibility and tech participation in two historically underrepresented communities: the women’s and queer communities. Some of the notable events from the agenda include How Badass Women Are Solving Tech’s Diversity Problems; Breaking the Bro Code; From Frederick Douglas to #BlackTwitter: Social Communication for Social Change; and a keynote interview with Founder of Re/code.net Kara Swisher and Salesforce.com CEO Mark Benioff.

After undergoing a makeover, The Swedish American Music Hall is now reopened and serving as the headquarters for Noise Pop 2015. Noise Pop, which has been going on since February 20th, wraps up this weekend with a busy schedule of films, art exhibits and live music. Stop by tonight at 5pm for a free showing of the National Poster Retrospecticus, a traveling show of more than 350 hand-printed event posters, and see all Swedish American Hall events here.

One of Alfred Hitchcock’s finest and most popular films, Vertigo, will be screening at the Castro Theatre Saturday through Monday. Catch Hitchcock’s San Francisco masterpiece, which stars James Stewart and Kim Novak, "builds to dizzying heights of duplicity, derangement and delusion while challenging viewers to decode its layers of symbolism for decades." Screenings on Saturdays and Sundays will start at 2:30pm, 5:15pm, and 8pm.

If you've got kids in tow, head over to the Randall Museum tomorrow for its big Science Fair Fest. Drop by anytime from 10am to 2pm to join in hands-on art and science activities and interactive experiments appropriate for all ages, and check out the over 200 middle school science fair projects on display.

Saturday afternoon at Jane Warner Plaza, the Harvey Milk Democratic Club will be hosting Queer #BlackLivesMatter: A Call to Action in Castro. Organizers invite you to join them in a demonstration celebrating Black History Month and the lives of black LGBTQ people, plus a protest against "the anti-black racism of local establishments." The event promises community-building, music, performances and brief community leaders’ speeches followed by a moment of silence and a march down to Toad Hall. (If you'll recall, last month’s protest organized by QueerTrans People of Color over MLK Day Weekend saw escalating tensions and accounts of an unpleasant confrontation inside the bar.) Afterward tomorrow's march, there will be more dialogue and community-building at The Mix.

On Sunday, join members of the community for Cookie Dough: A Celebration of Life at the Victoria Theatre, where she entertained crowds for years while performing as Sophia in "The Golden Girls Live." Performances and speeches from many drag queens in the community are planned, as well as a sing-along to ‘I’m Going Home’ from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
