Lower Haight Art Walk Returns Next SaturdayPhoto: Andrew Dudley / Hoodline

Mark your calendar for next Saturday, March 7th, as the Lower Haight Art Walk returns to the neighborhood.

Full details are still being finalized, but here are a few highlights we can report:

Fifty24SF (218 Fillmore) will host the closing party for "A Light In The Darkness," a solo show by artist Sam Flores. Flores will be in attendance for the final night of the show's nearly three-month run. (Check out our profile piece from back in December for some background on Flores and his work.)

Underground SF (424 Haight) should see the return of the monthly DJ event, "Push The Feeling." Featuring residents DJ YR SKULL and epicsauce, this one takes over Underground SF on the first Saturday of every month.

Vinyl Dreams (593 Haight) has a release party for "Cosmosurdity" by Dr. Rek, a digital EP described as "a funky acid journey to outer edges of the cosmos and back again."

And we hear that Black Sands (701 Haight) is planning to open up its still-in-progress space to the public for the creation of a group art project.

All this and more can be yours, as you stroll the neighborhood between 5pm and 9pm next Saturday. We'll have all the gory details for you late next week.
