Here's a roundup of events happening in and around the Inner Sunset this weekend.

First up, take the N-Judah to 12th Ave. right now for a communal garage sale and swap meet that includes the entire block. Garage sales will run until 1 pm; after that, neighbors will share beverages and barbecue while kids and others take part in games and activities.

After dark, organizers will set up fire pits and set up for an outdoor moving screening, title TBA.

Starting at noon today, drop into The Little Lodge at 12th & Irving to support a fundraiser for a 10-year-old labrador that was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer. The diminutive gallery and studio managed by Inner Sunset artists is selling prints, photos and artwork to raise funds for veterinary bills.

Until 3pm this afternoon, admission is free at the Randall Museum for the annual Bug Day celebration. Bring a child aged 2 or older for bug-related arts and crafts, a live exotic insect petting zoo, the chance to hang out with beekeepers, and possibly, a chance to see what bugs taste like.

Although admission is free, “some activities have a low fee,” according to the event description. The Randall Museum is located at 199 Museum Way near Corona Heights Park.

If you’d rather be indoors, stop by Blackthorn Tavern to watch the Warriors vs. Pelicans NBA playoff game on one of their many flat screens, starting at 12:30pm. Oddsmakers are saying the Warriors have a decent shot at winning it all, so it’s a great time to jump on the bandwagon.

Tomorrow morning at 10:30am, the Inner Sunset Sunday Biking Community will kick off its inaugural ride. The group will start from La Boulange at 9th & Irving and ride through Golden Gate Park before pausing to refresh at Java Beach Cafe.

According to organizers, “the Inner Sunset is stupidly good for bicycling,” given its proximity to Golden Gate Park and a plethora of neighborhood shops. “This group aims to embrace that fantastic setting by building a community around regular Sunday rides,” so Hoodline will be sure to include them in future weekend guides.

The ride is “accessible to new riders,” since the group will take a casual pace. To attend, join the club and RSVP on the ISSBC’s Strava page.
