For those of you who sadly missed out, DogFest took place in Duboce Park over the sunny weekend.

The 8th iteration of the annual charity for SFUSD's McKinley Elementary School offered plenty of activities and vendors to keep both adults and kids entertained, but the focus was on the pups. All told, this year's event raised $115,000 for the school.

We saw a plethora of pooches both big and small, including some up for adoption.

The main event was a dog show hosted by Daniel Handler (a.k.a. Lemony Snicket), and featuring guests judges such as San Francisco Chronicle columnist Leah Garchik, District 8 Supervisor Scott Wiener, District 5 Supervisor London Breed, local teachers and other personalities.

Dogs and their owners competed in categories like Best Trick, Best Human/Dog Look-a-like, and Best Body Part. Like last year's Best in Show winner Rufus, this year's winner "Jumbo" took home both Best Body Part (tongue) and Best in Show this year.
