"Tons of fire trucks, cops and yellow tape" were reported at Jane Warner Plaza last night, as SFPD responded to a stabbing incident at the Castro and Market corner.

At around 11pm, police report that a 22-year-old woman was stabbed in the thigh in an unprovoked attack. The victim was walking past the male suspect, when he reportedly stabbed her with a knife.

Police arrested the suspect, and the victim was transported to SF General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

We're reached out to SFPD to see if any more details on the incident are available, and will update the article if we learn more.
