Three suspects have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a string of robberies and the April 10th car chase in which a pedestrian was fatally struck by the fleeing suspect vehicle.

Today, SFPD announced that after serving search warrants throughout the cities of San Francisco, Hayward, and Santa Rosa, police had arrested 19-year-old Robert Pelesauma, 19-year-old Hunter Sagaiga, and 18-year-old Faavesi Koka, all residents of San Francisco. The three were booked on suspicion of homicide, conspiracy, evasion of police, possession of a stolen vehicle, and multiple robbery charges.

On April 10th, we reported that following a multi-day series of armed robberies across the city, the last of which occurred at around 10pm at Clay and Larkin, an SFPD patrol officer spotted the suspects' vehicle, and units were sent to attempt a vehicle stop. "The suspect vehicle took off and the pursuit began," said SFPD Public Information Officer Grace Gatpandan.

The sedan struck 42-year-old Bridget Klecker, who was in the crosswalk at California and Kearny, and she later died from her injuries.

The investigation stretched throughout the Bay Area, with the SFPD thanking the Federal Bureau of Investigations SWAT team, Santa Rosa Police Department, Santa Rosa College Campus Police, Santa Rosa County District Attorney Investigators, Hayward Police Department, and the Daly City Police Department for assistance. The suspects were reportedly taken into custody without incident.
