Duboce Park Fence Damaged In Overnight MisadventurePhotos: Andrew Dudley / Hoodline

A vehicle apparently drove through Duboce Park overnight, taking out a section of the park's chain fencing along the way.

Reader Francesca N. tipped us to the damage at the eastern end of the park at 3:14am this morning:

As of 9am this morning, the scene remained a mess, with what appears to be a car's headlight and a piece of bumper scattered among other debris:

Duboce Park is of course not open to auto traffic, save for the occasional police cruiser making the rounds. Francesca reports that police did drive through after the 3am incident today, though we don't yet know if they were able to find the off-roading driver and/or make any arrests.

We've reached out to SFPD for more information, and will update if we learn more.
