The 61st annual North Beach Festival was in full swing by early Saturday, as live bands, food stands, community groups, merchant booths and beer and wine gardens lined the streets along parts of Columbus, Grant and Green in the heart of the neighborhood. It also runs today from 10am-6pm.

Here's the map; beware of street closures. This is the largest fundraiser of the year for the North Beach Business Association, bringing in about $50,000—most of which is given in grants to local nonprofits.
