With Up Your Alley happening this Sunday, another long weekend of events and parties is on the horizon. Here are a few suggestions for what to check out if you've got some free time this weekend.

Friday, July 24th

Afternoon Spin: Haven't stopped in to the newly opened SoulCycle yet? They'll be out in Jane Warner Plaza on Friday afternoon at 1pm, leading free spin class demonstrations in partnership with Live! in the Castro. Since a single class can run $30 or more, this is a way to take SoulCycle for an afternoon spin without the price tag.

Jewish Film Festival: The 35th annual San Francisco Jewish Film Festival kicked off last night at the Castro Theatre, and continues through August 9th. Earlier this week, we rounded up the best films showing at the Castro over the course of the festival, so take a look if you're not sure what to see.

Biggest Catch: Do you think your date is the biggest catch? Then bring them over to Lookout on Friday night for Naked Sword's Biggest Catch DVD Release Party. The party starts at 9pm, with a $5 cover. Prizes go to the top three competitors; the grand prize is a $400 Hotels.com gift card.

Saturday, July 25th

Flagging Event: Flagging in the Park is back again this Saturday at Golden Gate Park (12:30-4:30pm). Benefiting the AIDS Memorial Grove, this event is open to all you flow artists out there, whether you're into fanning, flagging, hooping, or poi. Flags will be available for use, and dance music will play to get participants in the mood.

Photo Center OpeningThe Harvey Milk Photo Center's summer show opening reception takes place on Saturday afternoon from 4-8pm. The exhibit features images taken by over 30 members, volunteers and staff in a variety of different formats, including black and white, color, film and digital images. Many of the images were printed at the Harvey Milk Photo Center itself. Photos will be available for purchase, with 25 percent of the proceeds going towards the installation of new lighting in the exhibition space at the center.

Milk in Duboce ParkOutdoor Movie Night in Duboce Park returns on Saturday night with Gus Van Sant's 2008 Harvey Milk biopic, Milk. Filmed in SF, it stars Sean Penn as Milk and James Franco as his lover Scott Smith. The film will begin around 8:30pm in the very park that inspired Harvey's initiative to require dog owners to pick up after their pets. Movie bingo cards will also be handed out, and the first five people who correctly and completely fill them out will win gift cards to Peet's. The event is free to the public and sponsored by Friends of Duboce Park and SF Rec & Park.

Sunday, July 26th

SF Marathon: Up early on Sunday morning and not running the SF Marathon? Then head over to Haight Street, where you can catch the runners participating in the SF Marathon and SF Half-Marathon as they race to the finish line. Give them a few words of encouragement—they'll need it. Even if you don't attend, you can expect traffic to be affected throughout the city on Sunday morning. Here's a course map and more info about the event.

Blues in Jane Warner Plaza: Whether you're on your way to Up Your Alley or staying in the Castro on Sunday afternoon, stop by Jane Warner Plaza at 1pm to enjoy some blues music from Pat Wilder, who's performing as part of the Live! in the Castro series.

Up Your Alley: The 30th-anniversary edition of Up Your Alley (also known as Dore Alley), Folsom Street Fair's 'dirty little brother,' takes place on Sunday in SoMa from 11am-6:30pm. Up Your Alley benefits a variety of HIV/AIDS charities and organizations, including the AIDS Emergency Fund and the AIDS Legal Referral Panel. Though it has a smaller footprint than the Folsom Street Fair, for many, this event has become the go-to BDSM event in the city. It has fewer tourists and more local leather and fetish enthusiasts in attendance, making it a more hardcore experience. This year's event will have over 60 vendors, along with a multitude of BDSM demonstrations.

After Dore: Once you've gotten enough of Dore Alley, head back to the Castro for Big Top Sundays at Beaux, with special guests Milk Queen (from RuPaul's Drag Race) and NYC-based baby bear rapper Big Dipper.

Have any other events going on this weekend that you'd like people to know about? Let us know in the comments below. Otherwise, have a great weekend, and don't forget to wear sunscreen when you're out at Dore Alley.
