It's the first Thursday of the month, which means art galleries across the city are opening their doors, serving up refreshments, and staying open later than usual in celebration of new shows. Polk Street and the Tenderloin are no exception, with several art galleries premiering new bodies of work tonight.

If you'll be in the mix tonight, we recommend starting your night on Sutter Street, and heading westward toward Polk to hit each opening in order.
