Will Leather Goods Store Headed To Former Zonal SpacePhoto: Andrew Dudley/Hoodline

It's been six months since Zonal closed its doors after 24 years on Hayes Street and longtime owner Russell Pritchard moved on to new things. Construction workers have been seen coming and going from 568 Hayes St., but there's been no sign of what's to come until this past weekend, when a large sign appeared in the window bearing the news that Will Leather Goods will move into the space.

Founded by William Adler in 2004, Will opened its flagship store in Venice Beach in 2012, and since then has opened up shop in Portland, Eugene and New York City. San Francisco's Formula Retail law limits businesses with more than 11 stores worldwide from moving into certain corridors such as Hayes Valley, but with only has six stores (this will be the seventh), Will Leather Goods is safely in the non-formula retail zone.

Products sold include a wide array of bags, both for men and women, ranging from a $75 tote to a leather travel duffle for $895. The company also offers Yoga straps ($75 each), iPhone sleeves ($60 each) and wallets and belts ranging in price and style.

Will's Doreen Wang let us know that the San Francisco outpost of Will Leather Goods is targeting a mid-September opening date.
