Eatwell Farm's Ice Box To Depart Second Act MarketplacePhoto: Ice Box/Facebook

After about a year and a half at Second Act, Eatwell Farm's Ice Box has departed the marketplace at 1727 Haight, severely limiting the soft-serve options on the west end of Haight Street. Their last day was yesterday.

"Second Act and the community will miss their handmade cones, soft serve ice cream and Drinkwell softers!" Jack Rix, owner of Second Act's marketplace, told Hoodline via email. "Thank you, Eatwell Farm's Ice Box, for all your sweet treats. We wish you the best of luck!"

"It's been a great year and a half at Second Act and we will miss everyone there that helped and supported us, but it's time to move on," said Roma Gray, proprietor of the Ice Box, via email. Gray adds that while Ice Box's next move isn't quite set, you can check their website for updates.

Ice Box's departure means that there will be a vacancy at Second Act, which they're currently looking to fill. Up-and-coming business ready to share a community space in the Haight should contact them at info [at] secondactsf [ dot] com or call at 415-668-3994.
