A man was found dead inside a residence on the 500 block of O'Farrell Street at 10pm on Thursday night. The SFPD reports cause of death as a blunt-force trauma to the head.
The police department has released few details thus far, but the San Francisco Appeal reports that the man has been identified as 48-year-old Sheldon Smith, and the case is being investigated as a homicide.
