At approximately 4:10pm, a turning Powell/Hyde cable car struck a car that was pulled over on the corner of Hyde & Jackson. The leg of a male cable car passenger was pinned between the two vehicles, and bystanders attempted to free him; he was taken away in an ambulance. SFMTA reports that the line is blocked and that bus shuttles are deployed.
