Mark your calendars: today the SFMOMA announced that the museum would reopen in May of 2016, with almost three times the space of its former incarnation. A century-long partnership with the famous Fisher Collection, the largest photography gallery space in the nation, and an eye-catching new building are all part of the finished product.
