Magna Carta will be filming a commercial in parts of Chinatown and the FiDi on Thursday and Friday, so you might see commotion, and some parking will be affected. All merchants, visitors and shoppers will have access into and out of the areas on both days, and SFPD will be on site to assist with safety.

Magna Carta is a noted production company that's filmed commercials for Tinder and produced a 12-episode web series, "Ask Lena" with Lena Dunham. The San Francisco Film Commission, which issues the city's filming permits, said it's unclear what this commercial is for, but passersby can ask on the shoot site.

Scenes of a character walking down the sidewalk and crossing the street will be filmed from 2-10pm on Grant Avenue between Washington and Clay streets. During the filming, they'll post "no parking" signs on the west side of Grant between Washington and Clay streets for photo backgrounds, and the west side of Kearny between Washington and Jackson streets and the south side of Washington between Kearny and Montgomery streets for equipment parking.

The company will also film inside Wheel House fitness studio in 1 Embarcadero Center from 2–8pm Friday. Filming will be done inside the business showing the character taking a spin class. During that time, no parking signs will be posted on the east side of Battery between Clay and Sacramento streets and the north side of Clay between Battery and Davis streets. The on-site contact is Jof Hanwright,( 415) 483-9294.
