Missed anything this week? Now's your chance to get caught up and find out what's going around the neighborhood this weekend.

After opening up last month and igniting some outdoor-seating-related controversy, Philz Coffee has downsized its sidewalk space to comply with Castro-specific guidelines.

District 8 Supervisor Scott Wiener has introduced a new ordinance that would change the planning code to allow businesses, like Churchill, to seek a second-floor bar expansion

Earlier this week, Castro drag queen and party promoter Juanita More! announced the end of the eight-year run of Booty Call Wednesday at Qbar. If last night's eight-year anniversary party is any indication of how busy it'll be when the party ends later this month, expect a huge event.

Dijon of Souls of Society brought us another installment of Souls Of the Castro, a series of photos and brief on-the-street interviews featuring people he encountered recently in the neighborhood.

And finally, we spoke with Castro Theatre organist David Hegarty about the ambitious new organ that's in the works (if you want it to happen soon rather than later, you can contribute to the crowdfunding campaign.)

And now, on to your weekend events and things to look forward to next week.
