'Seldom Seen' Boutique Opening In Former Lustre Salon SpacePhoto: Seldom Seen/Facebook

It's only been a month since Lustre Salon closed its doors, but a new tenant has already been found for 522 Octavia St. The space is currently getting a fresh paint job in preparation for the launch of a new boutique, Seldom Seen. The shop revealed the move on its Facebook page, which features a picture of the space with the tagline "Coming soon."

According to its website, "Seldom Seen is a boutique pioneering the Urban Prep lifestyle that bridges modern preppy with refined street for today's style enthusiast." Clothes range in price from $16 for a pair of men's socks to $399 for a women's wool cardigan (currently on sale from $609). It doesn't create its own line; instead, it stocks brands like DL1961, Steven Alan, Loeffler Randall, Raleigh Denim, and Chinti & Gray.

522 Octavia will be the clothing company's first brick-and-mortar store, though they've had pop-ups at Harrington Galleries on Valencia Street and The Shop in the Marina.

We've reached out to the owner for more information, and will let you know when Seldom Seen is open for business.
