New Year's Eve On Divisadero: A Boozy Goodbye To Tsk/Tsk, Plus More To DoPhoto: Madrone

If you're at a loss with your New Year's Eve plans, the good news is you don't need to travel far to find a party. Divisadero has three big events happening to celebrate the transition to 2016.

It'll be the last night in business over at Tsk/Tsk, the slushy-serving, bacon-slinging bar that replaced Ziryab over the summer. The bar was always meant to be temporary, while owners Justin Lew and Ian Scalzo prepared to open their permanent cocktail bar Horsefeather

"TSK/TSK was fun little ride," Lew told us today. "We had a blast doing it but we're all anxious and excited to get phase two underway. We deeply appreciate all the neighborhood support and look forward to returning in the spring with Horsefeather." Lew says they'd like to reopen as Horsefeather as soon as possible, but there's no firm timeline just yet.

This Thursday, fans can swing by to bid adieu to concoctions such as the Beet Down (gin, strawberry beet puree, lemon and rosemary absinthe whipped cream) or the Banana Hammock (coconut cream, white rum, Giffard Banana du Brésil, Fino sherry and pineapple juice). A champagne toast will take place at midnight, and expect a 50 percent-off "beverage liquidation" sale to sweeten the deal.

Up the street, The Independent is rocking into the new year with a special show by artist Mayer Hawthorne with DJ Kurse and Peanut Butter Wolf playing the opening. The $135 ticket includes an all-night open bar; the whole shebang kicks off at 9pm.

Madrone Art Bar will also be hosting music, curated by its DJs Sonny Phono and Bessed Drest. The theme? Well, there isn't one. Anything goes on New Year's Eve. This is a cheaper option than The Independent: the cover is only $10 after 8pm.

And if you want to keep things more chill, or prefer an earlier bedtime, Mini Bar will also be opening up its doors on New Year's Eve—but only until 11pm. "Rhinestones and sparkles encouraged!!" reads the local watering hole's Facebook post

Wherever you end up, have a safe and happy new year—and don't forget to hydrate.
