Bones Unearthed Near Alamo Square ID'd As Belonging To Child, 2nd PersonPhoto: Google

The human remains found in a McAllister Street sidewalk planter have been identified as bones belonging to a child and a second person, according to the Medical Examiner's Office.  The Chron reports the child was 8 to 14 years old, and that there was no further information on the second person.

Authorities are still investigating where the bones came from and who they may have belonged to.
