Fans of creamy blended mochas and enormous $2 coffees have just a few hours left to get their fix at the corner of Polk and Washington. It's A Grind, a mostly-West Coast coffee chain that moved into 1800 Polk St. nearly a decade ago, closes for good later today.

An employee we spoke with said they're keeping normal hours today — 7am-8pm — and they have no idea who's moving in next. (We'll share an update if and when we do.) In the meantime, what would you like to see in this space?
