Pedestrians, Cyclists Not Exempt From Super Bowl Detours And DelaysMap: SFMTA

Downtown commuters are well aware by now that Super Bowl City and the NFL Experience are set to snarl public transit citywide, and the city is asking drivers to avoid downtown altogether. But pedestrians, cyclists, and ferry commuters aren't exempt from the chaos, either.

Today, the SFMTA released a map and extensive details on closures and detours for pedestrians and bicyclists near the foot of Market Street, Justin Herman Plaza and Sue Bierman Park, as well as near the Moscone Center, that apply from Jan. 23rd through Feb. 12th. They're likely to cause trouble for a lot of downtown commuters, so make sure to allow extra time—and don't say we didn't warn you.
