Fire engines have converged on Fulton Street between Lyon and Baker, where a two-alarm fire has been reported.

According to SFFD reports, the fire has spread from the first to the second floor. As of 8:30pm, firefighters were on scene and flames could be seen emanating from the building. Two buildings on the 1500 block of Fulton are visibly affected, while a third may be affected.

Update, 8:45pm: The blaze has been declared a three-alarm fire.

One of the houses affected is the "Sunshine Castle," a communal living space that's the unofficial headquarters of the Wigg Party, and the former residence of Morgan Fitzgibbons, who we interviewed back in December.

According to Nick Brown, a resident of the Sunshine Castle at 1571 Fulton, the fire started on the first floor of the building directly next to it (1563-1567 Fulton).
