With Super Bowl City in the final stages of disassembly, SFMTA announced that streets downtown will reopen this evening, a day earlier than planned. They include: Market Street between Beale and Steuart; southbound Embarcadero between Washington Street and Don Chee Way; Spear, Steuart and Main streets between Market and Mission; and the intersections of Main, Spear, Drumm, and Steuart streets at Market Street.

All Muni lines will return to normal at 5am Friday except for the F-Market streetcars, which will operate by bus shuttle on Saturday and Sunday due to additional work near Steuart Street. The E-line will reopen and run its normal weekend service.
