Get a jump on indulging with your sweetie this Valentine's Day weekend at the Ferry Building's ninth annual Food from the Heart event, tonight from 5–7:30pm. The "Grand Nave" will be lit with candles and open late for shopping, with chocolate tastings, seasonal hors d'oeuvres and samples from restaurants and the Napa Valley Vintners.

Food samples run $2–6 and wine samples are $4; proceeds will benefit Slow Food San Francisco. There'll be tango dancing, classical music and the romantic backdrop of the Bay to put you in the mood as well.
