Divisadero Health Haven In Final Week Of Business, Will Close SundayPhoto: Nuala Sawyer/Hoodline

We first found out that Health Haven was planning to close up shop a year ago, and this week, the store's 22-year tenure on Divisadero is officially coming to an end. Owner Ray Salman told us earlier this year that competition has been fierce with the arrivals of Falletti Foods and Bi-Rite, and that there simply hasn't been enough money coming in to support the three families who run the store.

Health Haven's final day was supposed to be January 29th, but that day came and went with a lot of product still on the shelves. The closing date has now been pushed to Sunday, March 6th, with everything in the store available at 30 percent off. Customers can swing by from 11am-7pm today through Friday, and 9am-7pm Saturday and Sunday, to stock up on discounted goods.
