If your love of beer extends beyond the glass and into the brewing process, then tonight's launch of Drink SF, a guided shuttle tour, may interest you. The San Francisco Brewers Guild is behind the unique multi-destination evening, which will guide drinkers to various breweries in Lower Haight and the Inner Sunset for a behind-the-scenes peek at their brewing processes.

Tonight's tour will kick off at Lower Haight brewpub Black Sands, which will offer some special rare releases. They include Oil as Embers, a coffee milk stout with cocoa nibs served on nitro, and Midnight Rye, a black rye ale with chocolate added. A Ghost Town Brewing collaboration red ale will also be on offer, as well as Smash IPA.

Starting at 7pm, a free shuttle service will offer beer fans a hop-on, hop-off tour of local breweries. The Brewers Guild is calling this route the Haight / Sunset Line, with stops at Magnolia BrewpubBarrel Head BrewhouseSunset Reservoir Brewing Company and Social Kitchen & BreweryThree free shuttles will run along the route from 7-11:35pm.

If you can't make tonight's inaugural shuttle ride, never fear—there are a bunch of other tours coming up. The next event will be held on April 20th, when the Mission / Dolores / Bernal Line shuttle will take visitors to three more breweries (Old Bus Tavern, Woods Cervecería, and Southpaw BBQ) and to Rosamunde Sausage Grill for a SF Brewer's Guild tap takeover.
