If you've made it past the corner of Haight and Cole recently, you may have noticed the new "Atoms Family" mural gracing the building that houses Cole Street Smoke Shop and Frank's Liquor Store.

The mural, which appeared over the weekend and is unsigned as of yet, appears to be in progress, with lots of inviting, whitewashed acreage. It replaces the mural of hip, smoking jelly beans that formerly adorned the building.

Employees at both Frank's and Cole Street Smoke Shop had no information about the eventual look of the mural, or the artist behind it. If you have any intel, send us a tip.
