Pine Lake Park Closed After Fallen Trees Damage PavilionPhoto: Laura Thompson/Hoodline

The winds and rain of recent storms have sent eucalyptus trees crashing down onto a pavilion at Pine Lake Park, reports the Chronicle.

As one of San Francisco's three remaining natural lakes, Pine Lake Park is popular with dog walkers, who made the discovery. Luckily, no one was injured.

“I was pretty shocked. I’m real glad nobody was hurt,” Jean McKenzie told the Chronicle. “There’s usually people sitting there all throughout the afternoon.”

The park is closed until further notice from SF Rec and Parks.
