Sunset Family's Stolen Budget Moving Truck Found in PacificaPhoto: mulmatsherm/Flickr

Earlier this week, we broke the story of how Jeremy Biane, Erin Coe, and their 17-month old son Austin lost all of their belongings when their Budget moving truck was stolen. The family had just moved from San Diego so Biane could start a new job at UCSF, and were staying with Coe's parents in Parkside when the truck was stolen from outside their home.

Jim Coe, Erin's father, told Hoodline that the truck has now been found in Pacifica. Sadly, not many of the family's items remained. "The couch, the baby's mattress, and some outgrown baby clothes [were found]. Not too much," he said. One of their most prized possessions, Austin's baby book, was not recovered.

Coe and Biane, who had been staying with Coe's family as they waited for their Mt. Sutro housing at UCSF to be ready, have now officially moved in.

They want to thank Hoodline readers and others for their many offers of help. "It's great to see people coming to the aid of total strangers," Biane wrote earlier this week. "We've been so fortunate to have family and friends in the area that have been very supportive, that I don't think we are in need of assistance. Plus, there are probably others out there in greater need than us."
