Tonight, the National Park Service will be holding the second of two public meetings in San Francisco regarding its proposal on dog management, which proposes restricting off-leash dogs from much of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA).

As they have at other public meetings in the Bay Area, local dog groups Save Our Recreation and Save Off-Leash, which are fighting the changes, are planning to protest.

One heads-up: the NPS and the GGNRA will not consider any comments at the public meetings as "official" comments. To make an official comment, visit the GGNRA's website.
