Event Spotlight: Urban Air Market Returns To Hayes Valley This SundayPhoto: Urban Air Market

Each week, we'll feature an especially interesting event in the neighborhood, based on the event submissions we get and what we hear about while we're out on the beat. If you want to be considered for next week, please submit your event here.

This Sunday, Patricia's Green will be transformed into a bustling marketplace featuring the wares of local artists and crafters, as Urban Air Market, the outdoor design festival, returns to Hayes Valley for their twice-yearly marketplace.

Over 130 creators have signed up to sell their wares, so whether you're looking for a present for Mother's Day or just something for yourself, chances are you'll find it here. Some of the items being sold this Sunday include stationery from Coffee & Cream Press, planters and succulents by Fractal Flora, necklaces by Laura Ismael Jewelry, and illustrations by Studio Firebaugh.

Food trucks and live music will round out the community event, which aims to offer a family-friendly outdoor shopping experience. And with an 80-degree forecast predicted, it's sure to be a great day to be out and about in the neighborhood.

Here are some other Hayes Valley events worth checking out. Visit hoodline.com/events for more events from around the city, or submit an event to be included in a future roundup.
