It's a great weekend for transit in the Inner Sunset: not only is the N-Judah slated to run all weekend, SFMTA has announced that it's expanding Saturday/Sunday service along the city's most popular streetcar route. Starting this Saturday, April 23rd, the N will run every 10 minutes on Saturday and every 12 minutes on Sunday.

The expanded service is particularly good news this week, since every event we've collected is N-Judah-adjacent.

In case you hadn't noticed, we're in the midst of election season, and on a local level, that means politicians are raising their visibility. Last week, District 5 Supervisor London Breed made a cameo appearance at the Park Station monthly meeting. Over the weekend, she also attended several community events.

On Sunday, Breed will hold office hours at the Inner Sunset Farmers' Market from 9 to 10:30am, to meet with constituents and hear their questions and concerns.

This Monday night, Supervisors Jane Kim and Scott Weiner, both of whom are vying for San Francisco's state Senate seat, will square off in a debate hosted by SHARP at the County Fair Building. In their first debate on April 7th, which drew a standing-room-only crowd, Kim and Wiener sparred over housing, shuttle buses, homelessness, and other pressing issues.

There's plenty more to do in the Inner Sunset over the next several days: several literary events at Green Apple Books on the Park, a drought gardening class at Garden For The Environment, and a free concert by the Golden Gate Park Band, featuring everyone's favorite marching band pieces. Check out the full lineup of local events below, and visit hoodline.com/events for more events from around the city.

Do you have an event to promote? List it for free on the Hoodline events calendar to reach a wide audience inside (and outside) your neighborhood. Submit your event details and we may even feature it right here next week.
