Make-A-Wish Burglary Suspects Nabbed; Hunter Pence’s Scooter Recovered [Updated]Photo: Google Maps

Three men have now been arrested on suspicion of burglarizing the South of Market offices of the Make-A-Wish Foundation last weekend.

According to the SFPD, a handful of items were stolen from the nonprofit's 55 Hawthorne St. office on Sunday, April 3rd. One of the items taken was a scooter signed by San Francisco Giants right fielder Hunter Pence—which had sold at an auction last year for $40,000 and was stolen once before, ESPN reports. (Update, 4:10pm: SFGate reports that the scooter has been recovered.)

Southern Station's investigations team used surveillance footage to identify the suspects in this burglary and tie them to a series of other burglaries in the area, the SFPD reports. Soon after a crime bulletin was issued within the department, Tenderloin Station officers spotted and arrested two of the three suspects Monday evening on the 400 block of Market Street.

37-year-old Judd Janke was booked on charges of burglary, conspiracy and false impersonation, as well as two misdemeanor charges of possession of narcotics and burglary tools. 26-year-old Nicholas Tiller was booked on two felony narcotic-related charges, felony burglary and multiple misdemeanor charges, including possession of stolen property and a probation violation.

(Update, 4/6: Officers with the Mission Station have arrested a the third suspect in this burglary, 35-year-old Jacques Manns. Exact charges were not been disclosed.)
