At nearly seven and a half miles long, the annual (Zappos.com) Bay to Breakers footrace is the longest consecutively run footrace in the world.

First started in 1912 to lift San Franciscans' spirits after the 1906 Earthquake, today marks its 104th anniversary. Popularly known for its participants' eclectic costumes, sprinkled with a light helping of public nudity, today's event did not disappoint.

You may have caught our earlier post about the scene near the mid-point on Divisadero, now here's a photographer's journey along the course.
