A two-alarm fire broke out at approximately 11am this morning on 35th Avenue between Ortega and Pacheco Avenues. The fire occurred at two neighboring homes at 1962 and 1966 35th Avenue, and was contained by noon.
A firefighter and two residents sustained minor injuries. According to SFFD spokesman Jonathan Baxter, the firefighter was treated at the scene, while the residents went to local hospitals.
13 people, including two children, were displaced by the fire.
